Hai! Todai I am going to review this anime entitled " Umineko No Naku Koro Ni " since I completed the whole season 1 in 2 days. It has total of 23 episodes in season 1. There should be a season 2 coming up or a continuation from episode 23 since they are now putting are small little special cuts of the show, probably to allow the manga to hasten up. [I just went to search, it has 26 episodes and currently it is ongoing at 23.]

Synopsis from Wikipedia:

The main character of the story is Battler Ushiromiya, son of Kinzo's second son Rudolf. Battler has not been to the annual Ushiromiya conference in six years due to living with his maternal grandparents ever since his mother Asumu died, and even took his mother's maiden name instead of Ushiromiya. When his grandparents died, he went back to living with his father, his second wife Kyrie, and their daughter Ange, his half-sister. Once on the island, Battler once again becomes acquainted with the legend of the golden witch Beatrice who supposedly lives in the naturally dense forest on Rokkenjima. A portrait of her lies in the entrance hall of the Ushiromiya family mansion, and a puzzling epitaph is written below the portrait. Rumor has it on the island that Beatrice gave ten tons of gold to Kinzo in the past to restart the Ushiromiya family after being crippled in the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake. It is said that whoever solves the riddle of the witch's epitaph will receive the gold and be the next successor to the Ushiromiya family.

Nonetheless, here are the top 3 reasons why you should watch the anime.

1: Mindfucks.

It screws your mind upside down with ingenious theory and make your mind goes BOOMz if you ever try to figure out the murders. [But you should, it's fun and intriguing]. Just when you think you guess the murderer and understand the whole murderer's plot and moves, NAY, you got it wrong. Access denied, meaning, be prepared to challenge your brain to a new level. Furthermore, you need to memorize alot of characters and this anime takes alot of reference from demons or some other smart theory in history. Preferably I like the " North Wind and the Sun " Strategy, you can google it if you want but it will spoil the fun if you read it up before watching.

2. Gore. NOT FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED

What can I say about it? I am speechless about the gore and violence in this anime. What movie comes to your mind when you see the word gore? Saw? Yesh! Saw in anime. It just that it is more gruesome and the decapitations are indescribable. I am not afraid to tell you all the murders are horrible since you are going to get used to it anyway. Do you want to have an splendid meal with your closed one body parts? Drink their blood? God, that was the most disgusting part of the show that I have to fastforward till the next part. Furthermore, I watched it at 1 or 2am in the morning.

3. Philosophical Values

I don't wanna elaborate this cause I need about 20 posts to cover all if I want to. And boys should like the series more. Heh.

By the way, the pictures I took aren't gore nor scary. This is just the surface of the hell you going to receive. Have fun watching! Cause I certainly do.

Yo! My hands are itching to type some lengthy issues now. The problem now is, I do not have really anything to say now. Except for the fact dorky Taeyeon's video that made me smile like nobody business.

Hmm, I pondered a lot these days and I am still wondering about how my life should go. I am not trying to be philosophical nor emotional here, but I just want to set a dogma for myself to look forward in life. Since life can be burdensome and mundane, but I want to change it. Change to something that I look forward to each day. Still, my expectations of myself keep increasing upon each day and I find myself suffocating my own self.  I want to elaborate more but something is holding me back, I remembered I once quote something similar in plurk. It goes like " Never share your happiness as that is where the hook strikes the hardest ". Not like I am saying whatever I am sharing now makes me feel jubilant.

Nonetheless, I remember I have an strong inspiration after watching Invincible Youth.  It is a half-scripted and a half-reality korean show. Initially, I watch it just because of Yuri from SNSD. However, as I am a small little innocent and always-seeking-for-inspiration boy boy, it influenced me on how we should look on things. The materialized perspective and mindset of ours should be changed. It should be changed to something more intimate, something that sets your mind at ease. Perhaps that is what I have been always searching for, something to let me rest my mind.

Now for daily stuff, I do not want to kill everyone of my readers with my thoughts. Just went to dinner with my big bro at KFC. We decided to try the new black pepper chicken. Frankly speaking, it does not really taste differently from the regular crispy/original chicken. It is just a puny tiny little bit of hotter than before. Furthermore, it does not have a regular box for the original chickens. The shop gave us a bucket, something in conjunction with X'mas design made by a 10 years old child. It was awkward eating without a container to place your food for 2 people, buddy meal indeed.

Gawd, I think I should stop now. I do not want to be seen as a person who always grumbles and criticize everything around/about me [ I realized, that's why I decided to stop ]. Looks like tomorrow is another today. Baibai.
